Prism Arts Alliance

 At the Prism Arts Alliance we believe in transparency with your donations. Currently donations would go directly to support the following programs: 

• Proud Parent Program 
  • What is it? 
    • One can think of it as a “Rent-a-Parent” for queer people who need a stand-in family member at a special event such as a wedding or a graduation- but the program itself is free! 
  • What would I be funding? 
    • The cost of background checks for our Proud Parents to ensure the safety of all involved. 
    • The cost of name tags so our Proud Parents can be identified at events. 
• The Rainbow List 
  • What is it? 
    • The official list of LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses in Daviess County, KY.
  • What would I be funding? 
    • The cost of decals and signs for businesses and organization to represent their support for the Queer Community. 
• Future programming & resources
  • We have big dreams of how we can help this community that could be aided by your donations. Right now they’re just ideas in our head, but with the right support they could become a reality. Including but not limited to: 
    • A space to be used for LGBTQ+ events 
    • The employment of full-time staff devoted to LGBTQ+ arts advocacy and programming
    • A full-scale Pride Festival for all of Daviess County
    • A Queer Community Choir
    • Theatre works surrounding LGBTQ+ themes 
    • Workshops held by compensated artists
